HIGHLIGHT
The Portland Maine Comedy Festival begins in earnest tonight and continues through Sunday at numerous venues in downtown Portland, most of which also make booze (the restaurant/venue Free Street, on Free Street, is the festival hub). There’ll be 100 funny freaks, sketchy artists and people just making shit up on the fly for laughs, including showcases highlighting BIPOC, Queer, female and older comics. Full schedule and tix at portlandmainecomedy.com.
