Cartoon Tuesday: Spanish energy giants and other hazards
By some miracle (sic), another Tuesday has dawned and the power’s still on in the U.S.A., though the wind could change that any minute here in Maine. Or the “Spanish energy giant” Iberdrola — which has now eaten Central Maine Power’s parent company whole and made CMP a private business no longer required to reveal its finances to securities regulators (sic) — could decide the provision of life-saving electricity here is slightly less important than its secret profit-making plans and just pull the plug. What are we gonna do about it? I mean, look at that thing!
Anyway, up in Rockland, Bollardhead and his buddies deal with the disturbing thing they’ve found in a dumpster. And since this comic was published back in 2008, the rights to Dicephalic Son of Bollardhead were bought by Marvel Entertainment, but the following year, Disney ate Marvel whole and efforts to write Bollardhead scripts acceptable to its board members have thus far failed to bear fruit.
