Three-Day Weekender Edition: Another day-trip tip
HIGHLIGHT
This month’s cover story is about day trips — you know, like day drinking, but with psychedelics. We explored Kingfield for the first one, but here’s a quick tip for this weekend: Gardiner. The riverside town near Augusta has some great places to eat, drink and buy stuff, and this summer they’re hosting a series of concerts along the waterfront. Tonight it’s Muddy Ruckus, the raucous punk-blues duo known for abusing luggage in the service of percussion. The free show at Gardiner Waterfront Park starts at 6 p.m. 582-3100. gardinermainstreet.org.
