We got some stuff wrong; Mr. Chill makes everything alright
DEPT. OF CORRECTIONS
In a story in our September issue, “Biker Beef Led to Morrill’s Corner Shootout,” we incorrectly stated that Travis Frechette received hospital treatment for minor injuries on the night of July 30. Frechette was not treated at a hospital that night. We apologize for the error, especially because it was such an idiotic mistake. The age of the (still officially anonymous) man treated for injuries and released that night was 45, according to police, and he lives in New Hampshire — details that should have made it obvious he isn’t Frechette.
Also, for the record, in this month’s cover story, “The Glorious Reincarnation of Taj,” we misspelled Chef Arlyn Vaughan’s first name. And additional reporting has uncovered the reason Arlyn thinks Taj’s garlic naan is just “average.” It’s not slathered in nearly enough garlic butter for his taste, he said.
